My name is Chad Tanguay, I am the owner of Merrimack Auto Center and Merrimack Auto Center-Nashua, and I would like to share with you a bit about my business. In 1977 my father, Don Tanguay, started Merrimack Auto.  He serviced and maintained the vehicles of many residents and companies in Merrimack and the Greater Nashua area for 27 years. In 1994, after serving in the US Army for 5 years, I reentered civilian life and started working by his side. The greatest attribute that I learned from my father and that I am now working to instill in my daughter is to treat every customer with respect -to be their friend, not just their mechanic. Over the years I have gotten to know every customer who has come through my door, and I pride myself in remembering almost every customer’s name. 

I have 8 members on my Merrimack team. My daughter Brooke is learning under me as the general manager to run the business and has been full time in our Merrimack location since the beginning of 2019. Ana, my office manager, has been with us since 2019. Rick is our most experienced technician with over 40 years in the business, and he has been dedicated to helping Merrimack Auto serve our community since 2011. Fred became part of our shop family in 2012 and has been a transmission and drive train specialist since 1984. Jake joined us in 2018 and has quickly became an essential member of the team. Rigo has been our tire specialist since early 2020. Sirgio joined our team in 2020 as our lead diagnostic technician. We are also proud to offer our shuttle service with a smiling face from Steve our driver. 

In May of 2013, we expanded our business into Nashua. Our team in Nashua is made up of 4 members. Ian, my shop manager brings years of foreign car repair knowledge and is a skilled diagnostic and electrical technician. Jeanne is our officer manager and helps keeps everyone in line. Nate is an experienced technician who has been with us since 2018. Ben who brings 10 years’ experience to the table started with us in 2019. 

Should you choose to wait while your vehicle is being serviced, we offer free Wi-Fi and coffee in our comfortable and spacious waiting areas. If you prefer not to wait, we will gladly shuttle you to and from work or home. That being said, let me tell you about some of the services we offer. Here at MAC we service most makes and models with Hondas and Toyotas as our specialty. Along with full size vans and 4X4 trucks, we perform all kinds of services ranging from a basic oil and filter service to full scheduled maintenance. We also offer tires at highly competitive prices, exhaust systems, complete tune-ups, alignments and brake service. We currently service many fleet accounts including Comcast, Merrimack Water District, Gate City Collision, Complete Collision, St. Laurent Auto Body, Merrimack Premium Outlets, The Stabile Companies, Bailey Towing and Auto Body, Viking Roofing, and Stanley Elevator.
